Teeth: 16
Clothes: She is wearing 18 and 24month clothing and some 2Ts. She is in size 4 diapers and we bought her first pair of size 7 shoes! She can still wear some of her 6 and 6 1/2 ones too.
Sleep: Well... I think we hit another regression this past month! (Thankfully it is over). From the beginning of June until the beginning of July, she decided to cut her naps in half most days and started having early wake up times. It was rough on this mama, especially with the nap time. No stay at home mama wants to lose nap time :) So, I was behind on many of my normal chore duties I accomplish during naps, and we woke most mornings with the birds (5:30ish).
Food: This past month her favorite foods have been: cheeses, bacon, peaches, rice, noodles, pizza, spaghetti, peanut butter pretzels, nuts, and salsa.
Here is her schedule give or take 30 minutes.
7:00 Wake/Milk - but she decided to wake around 5:30-6 most mornings this past month
8:00 Breakfast
9:30 Snack
11:30 Lunch
12:00 Nap - only lasted around 1 hour when it typically is 2.5 hours
3:00 Snack
5:30 Dinner
7:30 Bath/Stories/Bedtime
- She can count from 1-6 (Thanks to "This Old Man") then skips 7,8,9 and goes to 10 :)
Emersyn's Highlights:
- She pee peed in the big potty for the first time!! She loves going to the bathroom with me and often asks to sit on it too, but she had never actually pee peed. When she did this particular morning she was SO excited she couldn't stop laughing. We cheered for her... but I didn't push potty training because we were leaving for the beach in a few days. I haven't even bought her a "kid" potty yet. Trying to decide if I should go ahead and train her or wait until our vacations are completely finished in September.
- She loves to color and draw constantly!! We bought her some crayons for the bathtub and she is in love with them.
- She has learned how to unbuckle things like her stroller buckle, bike buckle, buggy cover buckle, etc. So I have to watch her extra carefully!
- We still work on her colors often and she can name many of them, but is not yet consistent with them all. She knows pink, orange, green, and yellow the best.
- She has become attached to her home the last few months. When we go out of town she will tell us "home" to let us know she is missing her home, and many times when I pull in the driveway from running errands, she will say "yay home!" in the sweetest, most excited voice.
- She got her toenails painted for the first time ever! I really wasn't planning on it, but she went with me before the beach and was super interested. I asked her if she wanted her's painted and she said yes and sat perfectly still the entire time :) While at the beach, she went up to random people over and over again to show them her "paint pink."
- She had her first true ponytail this past month also. Her hair is officially long enough to pull all the way up. She was pretty adorable :)
- She is still very social and LOVES meeting and greeting new people. She made friends at the beach all around and one of her favorite beach friends was a grandma who sat nearby. She visited her daily and they would gather shells and talk about their toenail polish together ;)
Emersyn Loves: playing outside, water, playing with friends, visiting family, music, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, baby dolls, books, coloring, paci/blankie, getting blankets out of the cabinet to cover up mommy and daddy, picking vegetables from the garden, swinging, her home, going places, playing with her toys upstairs
Emersyn Dislikes: Brushing her teeth, getting her faced wiped, Santa (While she was playing on her rocking horse upstairs one day, I told her Santa gave that to her and she said, "No Mimi." I told her no, that Santa gave it to her and she waved her arms and loudly said, "No no no, Mimi." She doesn't want anything that came from Santa haha!)
Emersyn is Learning to: put multiple words together, buckle and unbuckle things, count to 10 (she can make it to 6), match some letters with people's names, share and take turns, say "sorry" if she makes a bad choice, take shirt/pants/socks/shoes on and off, pretend play, identify some colors, make friends by waving at them and blowing kisses

Daniel was in a wedding for his friend Houston one weekend in June so we are dressed and leaving for the rehearsal dinner. Emersyn spent the night for the first time at Gran Gran and Papa's and did great :)

One evening we went took Emersyn to a blueberry patch in Travelers Rest to pick blueberries. We had fun and it was a great deal, but IT WAS HOT!!
