Christmas 2016
This was Emersyn's 3rd Christmas, and she was 25 months old!! She loved the Christmas decorations, nativity scenes, Christmas music, and baking, but she was not fond of Santa again this year. When we asked her what she wanted Santa to bring her for Christmas she would reply, "Mama and Daddy." The week before Christmas she changed her answer to, "chap stick." So of course Santa delivered chap stick to her stocking.
We were able to enjoy a few Christmas activities the weekend after Thanksgiving and first weekend of December, but after that, the activities were very limited due to my pregnancy sickness. Emersyn did not seem to mind though!! She loves playing at home especially on the days she gets to wear her jammies all day :)
Emersyn got her very own Christmas tree this year for her room!! She was very excited :)
As we were pulling Christmas things out of the closets, she found her old carrier and wanted to sit in it. She took it to the den and sat there while watching a Mickey Christmas. Look how BIG she is!!!
Gran Gran wanted to give the girls a trip to the American Girl store to pick out a doll for Christmas.
Emersyn wasn't into the American Girl Dolls, but she LOVED the babies!! She went back and forth between feeding and rocking her baby to sleep over and over again.
We stopped in at the Lego store too!

We decided to get out for the Greer City Tree Lighting one evening. One store downtown had a gingerbread cookie decorating time. Emersyn LOVED it!!

Emersyn's friend Lilly and her family met us for pizza that night and then to see the tree lighting and watch Santa read Twas the Night Before Christmas

Christmas Day lunch and presents at Papa and Momom Jones' house. Emersyn is still in her jammies and we were an hour late because as we were packing the car to leave our house, Daniel realized his truck had been broken into Christmas Eve. Nothing like having to deal with filing a police report on Christmas Day :(
