Beach Packing for a Baby

I wanted to share my packing list I made last summer when taking Emersyn to the beach and lake.  She was around 7-10 months during the summer months last year, so I hope it is helpful to some of you mamas!!

  Clothing
- Swim Suits
- PJs
- Day outfits 
- A few nice outfits for pictures
- Shoes
- Light jacket
- Hairbows
- Swaddle Blankets
- Mesh lingerie bags to wash swim suits in
- Dreft laundry soap

Outside/Beach Items
- Swim Diapers
- Sunscreen
- Beach Towel
- Sunglasses
- Sun Hat
- Jogging Stroller (one with big wheels that pushes easily in the sand)
- Tent or umbrella (some type of shade for beach)
- Swim float
- Sand toys
- Mesh bag for sand toys
- Small blow up pool (wonderful for beach to keep them cool)
- Waterproof blanket
- Baby powder to quickly get the sand off
- Rash guard (we never needed this but had just in case)  
- Life Jacket (if going to the lake)

Bathroom
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Bath Tub
- Soap/Shampoo
- Wash Cloths
- Towels
- Comb
- Saline Spray
- Boogie Sucker

**What are some must haves that you pack that may not be on this list for baby/toddler? 
 

 This is the pool we used and loved because the butterfly part helped to shade her.  It was purchased at Wal-Mart.

 Loved having this waterproof blanket at the beach and really anytime we were spending time outside.  It was purchased at Buy Buy Baby.

 This is the life jacket she used for boating at the lake.  It will actually still fit her this year because it goes up to 3olbs.  We purchased it at Dick's Sporting Goods, and she had no problem wearing it.  The fabric around her neck was really soft.

 This is the swim float we used.  Again, it was great to help shade her in the sun.  My parents purchased it for her as an Easter gift so not sure where it was bought, but I am sure you can find them at Wal-Mart or Buy Buy Baby.
