19 Weeks

How far along? 19 weeks

Baby size: Grapefruit, 8.47 oz, 6.02 in

Total weight gain/loss: At the last doctor's appointment in week 16, I had gained 4 pounds.

Maternity clothes? Mostly pants and a few casual t-shirts.
Stretch marks? Nope, but still itchy.
Sleep: Still going to bed as soon as Emersyn is down.  May watch a show or two while relaxing in bed.  Taking a lot less naps now, maybe only one or two a week.
Best moment this week:  Emersyn got her first haircut and did great!!  Since we were in Gaffney, she spent the night with my parents, so I had Tuesday to myself :)  I decided to go to Greenville to look for maternity clothes, pick out a birthday present for Daniel, and begin to register at Buy Buy Baby for little man.  Luckily I was super fast and accomplished all of these things!!  I am still stumped on which double stroller to decide on and if it is worth registering for an Ergo carrier.  I tried three different carriers with Emersyn and she hated them all.  She has never liked being confined, but I am hoping baby boy will cooperate more because I could really use free hands with two babies I'm sure!!  I also went back to Stroller Rollers for the first time this past Wednesday!!  Emersyn was SO HAPPY to be back to see all of her friends.  We haven't been since the end of November because I was way too sick to even think about exercising.  It was tough, but I know it is best for me and the baby to try to stay active as much as is healthy.

Miss Anything? Still searching for my energy.  By this time with Emersyn I was ready to conquer the world... not so much this go around.  I pretty much stink at multi-tasking, and I have to really talk to myself throughout the day to stay motivated.
Movement: He flutters throughout the day.  I can really only feel him if I am sitting or lying down.  It is light... not strong enough for anyone else to feel yet.

Food cravings: Not really... still eating just to eat.  Haven't LOVED a meal in a while.  While shopping last Tuesday I did enjoy and orange cranberry muffin from Panera as a morning snack and for lunch I enjoyed a chicken salad croissant and grape salad from Chicken Salad Chick.  Daniel says  this boy only wants girlie food (sandwiches, pastas, salads, fruit)!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: I have banned myself from eating french fries.  I tried Arby's... sick the rest of the day.  I tried Chick Fil A... sick the rest of the day.  I've decided baby boy does not like french fries, chocolate, casseroles, or other greasy foods.

Have you started to show yet:  Yes!
Gender: It's a Boy!!

Symptoms: Itchy belly, bloating at night, tired/low energy, picky eater, calves have been throbbing a few nights this week when I lay down for bed.

Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Looking forward to: Celebrating Daniel's 31st birthday!!

Watching Mrs. Amanda and getting ready to have her first haircut!!  She cried when I told her we were going to trim her hair, but I told her there would be a special surprise afterwards if she sat really still for Mrs. Amanda.  She did GREAT and received a sucker and then Mimi and her daddy took her to get vanilla ice cream with sprinkles while I had my hair cut.

She had the option of sitting in my lap or on a booster by herself.  She wanted to do it by herself... big girl!!
