How far along? 32
weeks
Baby size: Acorn Squash, 3.75 lb, 16.69 in (crown to heel)
Total weight
gain/loss: 20 lbs as of last doctor's appointmentMaternity clothes? Yes! And even some of those are getting a bit on the tight side.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: We were at the beach all week with my family. We brought Emersyn's pack and play for her to sleep in as she has done on all past beach trips... however she is now a year older, and we quickly realized she was able to climb out and even knock over the pack and play. SO, she slept with Daniel and me the whole week. Thankfully we had a king bed, so space wasn't an issue. She thought she was a princess and even took naps in that big bed by herself. I slept pretty good. I did have to switch sides throughout the night, but I was able to go back to sleep.
Best moment this week: Having helpers all week at the beach!! We had a wonderful time as a family, and it was a HUGE blessing to have my parents, brother, and Daniel with me all week to help with Emersyn. I was able to relax much more than I would have been able to at home. Emersyn LOVED the sand, ocean, and pool! It was such a joy to watch her have SOOO much fun playing each day. The weather was wonderful and during the warmer afternoons, I would sit under the tent in the shade while Emersyn napped in her stroller. The few days she napped in the condo, I floated around the pool (thankfully the baby monitor reached to the pool at our condo). I got spoiled having Daniel with us all week too!! It was a much needed week away.
Miss Anything? Being able to sit for long periods of time. It is getting harder and harder to sit up. I need to either be lying down flat on my back or standing. Sitting just squishes everything together too much in my stomach. While at the beach, I would sit in my beach chair for 20-30 minutes and then have to walk around a while. Things are just too crowded for sitting!!
Movement: He is very active and doesn't just kick, he flips and flops. While sitting on the beach, I could sit and watch him shift my whole stomach from side to side. He seems to do most of his moving on my right side.
Food cravings: Nothing tastes better to me right now than Cheerios with fresh strawberries!! I am also still in love with sandwiches topped with many slices of fresh tomatoes. Pizza, pastas, watermelon, cantaloupe, and salads are great too!
Anything making you queasy or sick: We went to a lot of seafood restaurants this week and cooked shrimp at the condo one night. I am normally a seafood lover and even was pregnant with Emersyn. I had shrimp one night and flounder another night, but after that, I was done. I ordered fettuccine at one seafood restaurant and chicken parmesan at another. Seafood was not appealing. I also had sausage and eggs one morning for breakfast, and I had throat burn the entire rest of the day :(
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender: It's a BOY!!
Symptoms: Throat burn, more swelling than normal while at the beach, bloated by the evening, heavy calves, and my husband claims that I've been snoring terribly...
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Off all of this week because my hands were too swollen at the beach.
Looking forward to: We go back to the doctor this Monday and have an ultrasound!! Ready to see how big brother has gotten and if he has turned yet.
