How far along? 34
weeks
Baby size: Honeydew, 4.73 lb, 17.72 in (crown to heel)
Total weight
gain/loss: 21 poundsMaternity clothes? Yes! And I have taken over Daniel's tshirt drawer because all of my pajamas are too tight, and I am not buying more maternity clothes with only 6 weeks to go.
Stretch marks? Thankfully not so far. My belly button is still super tight and feels like it is stretched to the limit by night time though.
Sleep: I have started "hot flashing" pretty bad at night now. I can usually go back to sleep pretty fast once I cool down though. I am sleeping most nights with one leg under the covers and one leg out. We spent one night in Blowing Rock, NC this past weekend, and I slept terribly. I was too hot under the covers and too cold on top of the covers. I basically battled the two all night.
Best moment this week: We had a wonderful time taking Emersyn to Tweetsie Railroad this past weekend. It was so nice to spend quality time with just the three of us. Her love tank was definitely full by the end of the weekend too :) We had a picnic by a pond, rode Thomas the Train and many other rides, ate snow cones, played on a playground and even had pizza in bed for dinner one night. The weather was perfect in the 70s, and although there were many hills to climb throughout the park, I did great and really felt good the whole trip. Emersyn and I also went to the $1 summer movie with her friends Lilly and Abigail to see Alvin and the Chipmunks this week. All three of the girls made it through the whole movie and did wonderful (thanks to the popcorn and snacks haha). We took my dad's parents out to dinner at the fish camp for Father's Day on Wednesday, and then they went with us to the park to watch Emersyn play. She had a ball, and they really enjoyed watching her and couldn't believe how friendly she was to the kids she did not know. She introduced herself to a 5 year old boy as, "Hey I'm Emersyn. I'm 2 years old, and my daddy's name is Daniel." We also had a great time at Chick Fil A Thursday morning for story time with her friend Lilly. They played on the playground together, and then an employee read a book about dads to the kids. It was precious!! Afterwards they were given supplies to make a Father's Day card for their dad. Emersyn of course picked an orange card and a purple heart to make her daddy's card because she knows he loves Clemson.
Miss Anything? Being able to get ready quickly. If I shower, wash my hair, shave my legs, blow dry my hair, put on make up and fix my hair... I'm totally over heated, out of breath, and ready for a nap. Juggling a 2 year old does not help the getting ready process to go any faster. So, if you see me at Ingles, Costco, or Walmart... chances are I will have no make up on and we won't discuss my last hair wash.
Movement: I feel the most on my right side, and his kicks are a lot more noticeable if you are staring at my belly. He has been hitting a few nerves too that make me double over sometimes.
Food cravings: Pizza, cold things (snow cones, freeze pops, ice cream, cold fruit, G2 Gatorade), hamburger meat, cole slaw, cantaloupe, watermelon, tomatoes on sandwiches, smoothies and last but not least... CEREAL!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: We went to the fish camp this past week, and I ordered hamburger steak instead of seafood (totally not me... Brayden's not fond of seafood)
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender: It's a BOY!!
Symptoms: Bloating by night time, swelling if in heat/humidity, throat burn (have had to take more Tums than normal), night sweats and I've noticed my patience are beginning to wear more and more thin at times. A day or two before we left for Tweetsie, I had a bit of an emotional breakdown. I have been great this whole pregnancy and really have not been emotional at all; however, the days are moving quickly and baby is coming soon. I had major anxiety about leaving for the weekend instead of staying home working on our to do list before baby arrives. Daniel coached me into going (as he always does), and we did have a wonderful time... but there is still a LONG to do list!!
Belly Button in or out? In but barely :(
Wedding rings on or off? Pretty much off
Looking forward to: We get to celebrate Father's Day this weekend!! I cannot say it enough of what a wonderful daddy Daniel is to our Emersyn and soon to be Brayden. He is so loved and adored by Emmie and does a wonderful job of showing her love, Jesus, how to have fun, and discipline. Watching them together melts my heart, and I know he is going to be just as wonderful with baby boy.

On a picnic looking at the ducks
Swinging with mama and Brayden
We spent Saturday afternoon until close and Sunday morning until around 3pm at Tweetsie Railroad.
Thomas the Train!!
They had THE PERFECT rides for her age!! We were very pleased :)
She wanted to ride with this little boy!!
Dark picture, but one of the only ones I have of her riding Thomas the Train
Bad attempt at family selfie on the train
She rode these cars probably 5 times!!!
They had a really neat petting zoo... but Emersyn would not let us put her down :( She cared nothing about the animals.
Ringing the bell on her boat ride
Getting a little brave!! Not sure that seat belt was tight enough.
I was not about to ride this with them!! It made me nauseated just watching them go around and around.
Daddy/daughter selfie on the cars
She went a found a bench all by herself to wait on one of the shows
She would not take a nap Saturday OR Sunday while we were there. So we left the park Sunday around 3 because we knew she was exhausted. She fell asleep after 3 and slept through the ride and on the couch until 8:20 that night. I gave her a bit of food and she was back asleep by 9pm and slept until the next morning. She was TIRED!!!
Picking the garden... She eats more tomatoes in the garden than she bring into the house.
