How far along? 12 weeks (April 5, 2014)
Baby size: Plum, weight .49 oz, length
2.13in
Total
weight gain/loss: I have lost 3 pounds from not being able to eat
any dinner. My "morning sickness" begins around 1ish in the
afternoon and lasts until bedtime. The most I usually eat for supper is
some type of toast with my vitamin.Maternity clothes? Not really. My stomach has not grown but I have noticed my hips, thighs, and rear are spreading.
Stretch marks? Not so far. I have been rubbing Palmer's Cocoa Butter massage cream on everyday when I get out of the shower hoping to prevent them. My mama swears by a brand she used called "Mother Care." She never got a stretch mark with either of us, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. If you have seen it let me know : )
Sleep: All the time!! I am literally drained when I get home from work each day. Twenty-two six and seven year olds do not help with the normal exhaustion that comes in the first tri-mester. With the exhaustion and sickness mixed together, I am pretty much worthless from the time I get home until bedtime. Poor Daniel :(
Best moment this week: Strawberries are finally coming in, so we went with my parents to Strawberry Hill last Saturday for breakfast!! Breakfast is the meal I feel the best and can eat the most, so the strawberry pancakes were heavenly, and I may have eaten
Miss Anything? I miss being productive. I feel so useless when I come home, and if you know me at all, you know how much it bothers me to just "lay around" and relax. It has definitely been an adjustment. I also have no desire to do many of my favorite hobbies like cooking, reading, exercising, and keeping up my home. And I really miss my Wednesday night Bible Study girls. I cannot wait until I feel good enough again to come on Wednesday nights.
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: Cold fruit, bread, bread, and more bread, pasta with no sauce or very little sauce, cereal for breakfast
Anything making you queasy or sick: Anything I eat at night besides bread makes me sick. Also, I cannot bring myself to step foot in the grocery store. Daniel has been our new grocery shopper now. I have no desire to cook or even be near the kitchen. The smell of the dishwasher really bothers me, so Daniel has also had to take over the dishes. (He is earning his crowns in heaven as we speak.)
Have you started to show yet: Not yet
Gender: At first I thought it was a girl, but sometimes I think boy... really don't have a clue. Just want a happy, healthy baby.
Symptoms: Nausea in the afternoon/evening, emotional, exhausted, smells really bother me, I cannot even look at Pinterest because I hate seeing pictures of food, when food commercials come on the television I have to close my eyes
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Looking forward to: Feeling better and being able to help around the house more.
