15 Weeks

How far along? 15 weeks (Picture taken April 27, 2014)

Baby size: Pear, 2.47 oz, 3.98 in

Total weight gain/loss: As of my appointment last week, I am still at my pre-pregnancy weight.  I only weigh at the doctor's office :)

Maternity clothes? Not really.  The shirts still look like tents on me.  I did buy just some t-shirts that I like to wear with my workout pants in a medium (normally wear a small) because my others are getting a little tight in the belly area.  I also bought a belly band from Target that allows you to unbutton your pants, and it has been helpful with a few of my pants.  I just hate anything tight touching my belly.
Stretch marks? So far so good.
Sleep: Still loving the early bedtime (7:30ish) but have been waking up full of energy around 5am.
Best moment this week:  I had several great moments this week!  Last Sunday on Easter, we went to my Momom and Papa's house for lunch.  I tried to portion control myself because I often feel worse when I eat too much.  I did pretty good considering ALL the delicious food she had cooked.  Then we went to Daniel's parents that afternoon and had Easter dinner there.  I knew I would not be able to eat much since I started feeling bad everyday in the afternoon... probably just a roll and some mashed potatoes would be all I wanted.  When dinner time rolled around, I was still feeling fine.  In fact I had actually played baseball in the yard with the family that afternoon!  I ate a ham roll, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, some casserole, and green beans.  I kept waiting to pay for what I had done, but I still felt okay.  Magically, I felt good all day Easter.  Daniel laughed and said I had been resurrected from the dead because I am usually a complete zombie after 3pm.  Thankfully, I have still been doing much better.  Of course I am still tired, but the nausea is pretty much gone.  It was a LONG 9 weeks of sickness, but I am thankful it did not last the whole time and I hope it is gone for good.  We were also able to attend Monica and Nick's gender reveal and IT'S A GIRL : )

Miss Anything? I miss being able to multitask as well as I once could.  My theme song lately is "I Ain't As Good As I Once Was."  I know life is all about different seasons, but this season has definitely changed my personality.  Some of my biggest thrills used to come from checking things off of my to do list or seeing how much I could save at the grocery store or mall.  (Sad, I know)  I have not had the energy for any of these things lately.  God has taught me to slow down, rest, and take care of my baby!
Movement: Not yet

Food cravings: I still love starches and fruit.  Cravings this week included Red Lobster's cheese biscuits and Tupelo Honey's sweet potato pancakes, big biscuits, and hash browns.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I am getting better and actually made a grocery shopping trip to Costco.  Before I had no desire to go anywhere that sold food.  Tomatoes and anything tomato based have been giving me acid reflux, so I have been avoiding things like spaghetti sauce, BLTs (which I love), and tomatoes on my salads.  It's kind of sad because Daniel has planted our garden, and I was so looking forward to some tomato sandwiches this summer!!

Have you started to show yet: I can tell, but everyone else says they cannot.
Gender: I still have this feeling that it is a boy, but now that Jennifer, Monica, Brantley, and Jeanna (some of my closest friends) are all having girls... I would love to have a girl so they can all play together : )

Symptoms: Nausea is much better, still very tired when I come home from work

Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Looking forward to: Planning a get away with Daniel soon.  Since I was so sick during spring break, we decided that as soon as I felt better, we would plan a long weekend get away to celebrate the baby and the sickness being better.
